Four Basic Hygiene for Health Scope

Levels of cleanliness vary by location & activities of humans. Hygiene at home is different from the operating room cleanliness in hospitals, hygiene in food factories differ with cleanliness in semiconductor factory that is free of dust.

Cleanliness is a state free from impurities, including among other things, dust, waste, & odor. Hygiene also means free from viruses, bacteria, pathogens, & harmful chemicals. They must maintain personal hygiene & surroundings to be healthy, not smell, do not spread the dirt, or transmit germs to yourself & others.

There is some scope cleanliness that they must pay attention to maintaining our health, including personal hygiene, hygiene of food - drinks & our surroundings tidy.

Personal Hygiene

   Always wash hands with soap when you wake up in the morning, after defecation & before eating.

   Bath every day, in the coursework of hot weather. Bath after working hard or sweating. Bathe often help prevent skin infections, dandruff, acne, itching, & rash. The sick, including kids, must take a bath every day.

   In areas where hookworm is common, do not let kids play with bare feet. Hookworm infection may cause extreme anemia. These worms enter the body through the soles of the feet.

Cleaning Domestic

   Brush your teeth every day & after you eat sweet. In the event you do not have a toothbrush & toothpaste, brush my teeth with salt & baking soda.

   Do not let your pet in to the home or roam in a place where kids used to play.

   If kids or pets defecating near your home, immediately remove & tidy. Teach kids to make use of latrines or at least to go far from home when a bowel movement.

Cleanliness Food & Beverage

   Do not let flies & other insects around touching or close to food. Insects can over germs & infectious diseases. Do not leave food scraps or dirty dishes lying like that, because this will attract flies & germs to come & breed. Protect your food by storing in a sealed container or in a box or cupboard.

   Fundamentally all the water that is not derived from a source of pure water ought to be boiled, filtered or purified before drinking. It is important for young kids, people with HIV / Aids, & in the event of outbreaks of diarrhea or typhoid, hepatitis, or cholera. For the purposes of disease prevention, have water in sufficient quantity is more important than having pure water.

   Do not eat food that is elderly / stale taste has changed or is foul smelling. These foods may be poisonous. Do not eat canned food if the can is swollen or out of gas when opened. This is cautious with canned fish. Even be cautious with chicken meat that has been cooked several hours. If feasible, give only food freshly cooked / prepared, for kids, the elderly & the sick.

Public Environmental Hygiene / Sanitation

   People with TB, flu, colds, or other contagious diseases must eat separately from others. Dishes & eating utensils used by sick people ought to be well cleaned before use by others.

   Keep wells & other water sources always tidy. Do not permit livestock or other animals near water sources, if necessary, make a fence around it. Do not defecation (feces) or dispose of waste near water sources. Maintain & keep cleaning the river & up the river that used to serve as a source of water.

   Empty trash as often as feasible, usually on a regular basis caretaker throw your rubbish every day. If there is no cleaning service, burn all the waste that can be burned. Waste that can not be burned to be buried in a special hole or a place far from home & drinking water sources.
